Based in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath, Simon and
Frauke Jackson are a husband and wife team who not only deal in
antique furniture but also undertake the high quality restoration of the same.
They met in 1983 at West Dean College in Sussex where they trained for their diplomas in furniture restoration.
Simon had previously attended Brunel Technical College in Bristol, obtaining a City and Guilds qualification in restoration, and Frauke had served a three year cabinet making apprenticeship in her native Germany.
Following several years employment in London they moved to Bath in 1987 and established their own workshop.
Dealing in antique furniture followed as a natural progression from its restoration and Simon and Frauke now regularly attend fairs in both England and Northern Europe
enjoying a large and loyal customer following in both areas.
For Simon and Frauke customer service is of paramount importance. Aware of the changing trends within the antique business they recognise the need to diversify and are constantly striving to satisfy their customer's requirements. Hence, decorative and painted furniture is now included within their range of stock.
